comment to: singlemum No, I've never seen 'bobs' in porn movies. And if one wanted to see some boobs then I'm sure one would watch a porn movie! Now, you stated 'you can allways choose not to look'. Did you even take spelling in school? Judging from your spelling, had you concentrated on your studies more (rather than opening up your legs)you would not be in this situation
ON GIVING AND RECEIVING: I am not sure people really believe their own words. I'm sure you have seen/heard people say something to the effect of "you give them this amount and God will bless you with such and such amount". Example, they say something like "you give them $500 dollars and God will bless you with $5000 dollars'. Sometimes, one can give a particular amount and God does not bless them ten-fold. I know. I asked God about it. He said, in that situation, I did not make the promise. So, when someone tells you something like that, make sure you hear from God first. People do this, even some ministries do this. However, I am not sure they actual believe the words they are telling others to do. I can PROVE it. If they TRULY believed this, then THEY would be the the very ones trying to 'give to you! Because Jesus said, it is more blesseth to 'give than to receive'. If they truly believe in the concept of 'sowing and reaping',then they would be literally breaking their backs to give to you (sow), rather than asking you to 'give' to them. Then, there are alot of people who want to 'GUILT' you into giving unto them. Both of these are of a pure selfish motive. Jesus said they poor shall be with us always,so they will always be plenty of people to 'give to'. Let not anyone fall prey to those who try to 'guilt' one into giving. One need to understand the laws of 'sowing and reaping'. I know, people will say, but I'm really in need. That is the time, when we need to 'sow'. Whatever it is that we have. Too many people just desire to 'reap' without 'sowing'. This law is not based on the concept of one will get something 'just because one is in need'. It does not work that way. Also, one has to have faith. So, the next time someone says 'if you give me this, then God will bless you with such and such, make sure you hear from God first. And do not let others 'guilt' you into giving. God want us to give cheerfully. He never wanted us to be manipulated by those people are out for their own selfish gain. Have a good day
comment to: Does anyone really care?? Most people here are in debt of some type. Even some rich people are in debt (they have mortgages, etc). We all wish that someone would pay off our debts. However, I know realistically wishes don't always come true for everyone. Those people who have hundreds of thousands that you speak of either inherit it, occaisonally won it (lottery),but most of them probably worked hard for it. I'm sure they had alot of luck on their side and probably used some financial wisdom. Take care.
Hi Hopeless, You are very welcome. I don't know where you live, but if you are not already a member of a faith-filled, word-teaching church; then please look in the yellow pages of your phone book. Find a church that is. There is a difference. I grew up in church and was spiritual 'starved'. I had not been taught 'how to use the word of God'. As an adult, I visited a church called 'Producing Faith' when I used to live in Alabama. They taught us how God wanted us to walk in blessings, prosperity and have good relationships. They taught us to 'speak the word'. My life changed. I had a LONG streak of bad luck. Years to be exact. Financial, relationships, sickness; you 'name it, I can claim it'. But that all change when I started applying the 'word'. I know you are probably mad at God. Don't worry about it, at one time, I was too. God won't hold it against you, trust me. He is the only one who can help you. He can change your life around 360 degrees for the better. If you cannot find a church in your area, you can write or call that church in Alabama. They will pray for you and send you out some tapes (it may be CD's by now, I have not lived in AL in 10 years). The address is: Producing Faith Ministries 4900 Grantswood Rd, Birmingham, Alabama 35210; phone (205) 956-5995. I wish you the best. God bless you.
comment to: coloradopianoman This is not "I DREAM OF JEANNIE IN A BOTTLE.COM"; where one is just dying to make 'your dreams' come true. Most people should be willing to help the needy. But with so many needy out there, why should one merely help someone who is obvious self-centered and greedy. We are all in debt. I am in debt and have never ask for help from this page. You should be ashamed of yourself. People are starving and you want someone to just 'give' you almost a 'HALF MILLION' dollars. Are you on drugs or something? Do like the rest of us, pay your own debts.
Idona, (of Third Step Sober) You do not have to 'OWN' a home for this. You can 'RENT' a home. This is how people who run group homes, half-way houses do it all the time. They simply 'rent' a house. That is if, you are serious about this and this is just not another SCAM.
