Thank you SO MUCH for your words, thoughts, and prayers. It's been so long since any kindness was shown to me by anyone other than Bob -- I'm in tears now. I can't think of much more to say except that I hope that God continues to help you with all that you may need. God bless, Beep
Hi CounselorBeep, I am so sorry that you have had to go through so very much in your lifetime. I can identify with several of your medical issues. Fibromyalgia and the chronic pain, that alone I have found to be life-altering. Not to mentioned all of the other problems that accompanied it. And girl, I feel you about the weight gain. It comes from the medications we are given. But what do you do? One can barely function, let alone exercise hard like we used too. Just day to day living can be difficult. I certainly do wish you the very best. And if you need someone to talk to, please feel free to email me. I will keep you in my prayers. Prayers has been a big help unto me. God bless you, Anonymous40784 ________ _____________ Lord, Plea se touch this woman. Send Your healing touch upon her. Heal her physically, mentally and spiritually. Restore unto her all that the 'locust' hath stolen from her. Deliver her from this affliction. Wrap her up in Your loving arms. Provide for all of her financial and medical needs. Send forth unto her 'friends' from the South, the North, the East and the West. Send caring, honest, loving friends unto her. Give her a new family. Provide her with an understanding partner/husband who will love and cherish her unconditionally. Amen
To: The D.C. AUTHOR Is "How do you feel about child abuse" the name of the book you are writing? Are you looking for many works for your book? Are you planning to publish the exact excerpts that you are obtaining for the research of your book? Will those who submit excerpts (email to you RE: about child abuse) get credit for their works? Do you have a literary Agent or do you self-publish? Do you have a publisher already? Do you want to know about abuse that happened personally to a person or can one let you know of situations of other people that one know about? I look forward to hearing from you. Take care.
To: Who Knew RE: Your advice to 'Tiffany' _____________ Who Knew, This is great advice. I know at times the truth hurts. But no matter how it hurts it does not make the matter LESS true. I hope the young lady understands that one is not judging her, but rather sharing with her good 'wisdom'. How different life might have been for so many of us had we hearken to good counsel and advice. I'm sure, like you expressed, some others will not agree with you. However, we as people need to realize its better safe/responsible than sorry! Thank you, 'Who Knew' for such wise advice. God bless you.

hi Sassy, I'm sure Oprah does help people. However, I was NOT one of them (I asked too). I can understand how you feel. I realize that there are many people in the world asking for Oprah help. So, who I'm I? I guess. I had to learn to trust in God. I mean to really trust in God and to start 'speaking' out loud and praying (sometimes fasting)for my needs. God provided for me. Sometimes, it took a LONG time. Other times, it came quite quickly. The bible tells us not to put our trust in 'MAN'. It tells us to trust in the Lord and He shall direct our path. A long time ago,I learned the hard way how TRUE this is. When my family hit hard times, I sought out help from mankind. Afterall, I had given generously to charities (ex: American Red Cross, Salvation Army, Save the Children in Africa, Cerbral Palsy, and others). My family and I had given to churches, many TV ministries. We had given generously to individuals, families. My family had feed many poor, clothes people, gave them a place to stay, etc. When my father was terminally ill, there was no other income because he could not work. My mother had 6 kids at home. Things were rough. We were in danger of losing the house we lived in which was a very old (falling apart). We needed money to pay the taxes ($1200 dollars). We also needed food, power, transportation, etc. However, the home was the most urgent need. I wrote and called many asking for help. I contacted some of the organizations, ministries whom we had helped for so many years. I called and wrote others as well. Do you know how much I received? NOT ONE PENNY. NO ONE ever GAVE ME A SINGLE PENNY! NOT A SINGLE PERSON EVEN OFFERED TO HELP! However, God worked out a way for us to get the money to pay the taxes. Also, when my first husband and I were married (we were in school) money was 'tight'. No, correction, it money was almost 'non-existent. When we could not pay our utilities, our power/electric was turned off. IT STAYED OFF. We had to get flashlights to see, and a kerosene heater for heat. There was NO ONE that helped me. We lost our apartment. If I did not have it, I had to just SUFFER. No MAN gave me ONE PENNY to help. However,I have learned to trust God. He brought me through. God can work things out. God can keep a person and change their life around. I cannot trust in man, I know that I can trust in God to provide for all of my needs. I still give to the church. I give to charities sometimes. I still help individuals. However, I know better than to put my trust in 'man'. I pray that God will bless you and provide for all of your needs. Anonymous40784

Hi aidpage: This was posted from a friend from another site about us needing to be grateful in America. Read this person's story, I hope you find it interesting. God bless everyone ____________________ _ From: MICHAEL W KAREN SMITH Sent: Wednesday, February 28, 2007 9:38 AM Subject: THE NIGERIAN NIGHTMARE: MISSIONARY TRIP TO NIGERIA; PART I Hi Friends. I am back from the crusade trip to Nigeria. It was unbelievable, to say the least. Nigeria is an oil rich nation and I was expecting to see something similar to Saudi Arabia; plush areas, wonderful social services, modernized societies, etc. I could not believe my eyes. Almost the entire nation is under the complete command of Lucifer the Destroyer. I have never seen this kind of societal devastation. This kind of destruction only happens when Satan the Monster is given the reigns. The country has a totally collapsing infrastructure; open sewers, dinosaur sized pot holes in the highways, mind numbing poverty, open land fills burning trash day and night around the city (it looks like Gehenna at night), public urination and defecation and absolutely zero commercial, residential, pollution, public or governmental safety standards. Almost all the buildings in Lagos would be condemned in America based on a wide range of major construction, drainage, plumbing and electrical code violations. In the USA the politicians are corrupt to the bone, however, they resemble trusting day care center workers compared to the demon possessed liars, killers, extortionists and thieves running Nigeria. The oil companies and politicians steal billions annually, leaving the citizens to rot to death with no social services, bombed out hospitals and apartments, collapsing buildings, limited electricity, unaffordable food with no sewer, telephone, sanitation or clean water services provided. I never saw a country care less about it's citizens than this one. The police corruption there makes the NYPD look like Romper Room. Cops perform routine shake downs to support their $100.00 a month salaries. What looks like the skeletal remains of humans wearing rags, roam across freeways dodging traffic, trying to eek out an existence selling near-useless retail items to thousands of people driving rattletrap automobiles paralyzed in daily traffic jams you would never even see in California. Widows and the physically and mentally disabled dumped on freeway medians and road sides groveling for pennies to survive. The air pollution in Lagos makes Phoenix and LA look like huge oxygen chamber resorts. The sunsets are clouded over with fowl air. Every building in Lagos is blackened with soot from pollution and billowing smoke drifting from open fires burning everywhere. I took pictures that cannot be described without seeing them. I have never seen Satan brutalized humans like this before. I did not know we did not have poverty in America. Our homeless would qualify as middle class citizens there. In Lagos, it is common for people to live in broken down shacks, surviving on a few calories a day and sleeping on porches, hallways or the floors of disintegrating buildings. You cannot get the grasp of this heartache on the TV news or on A & E. Almost nothing works there. Simple things like wells, septic tanks, lights, land telephone lines, washing machines, bathrooms, out houses, etc. frequently don't exist or don't function. Grade schools have virtually no supplies and look like military target zones. There are no traffic laws there. Everyone drives anywhere they want to, including BACKWARDS AND THE WRONG WAY DOWN THE FREEWAY! It is common to drive down the road and see a VAN DESIGNED TO SIT 8 LOADED WITH 20 PEOPLE COMING RIGHT AT YOU GOING THE WRONG WAY! A Formula 1 race car driver could not make it one day there. Trucks and cars pour black soot from the back of their vehicles like drunken crop dusters. Most of Lagos looks like a nuclear warhead went off and the government left the people behind to fend for themselves. The dirt is reddish like it has been napalmed. I sat in my hotel room weeping at night. A crooked policeman pulled us over for a traffic violation. I couldn't believe it. I had not seen a vehicle the entire day that did not commit one. The airport is a mass of confusion and looks like a patched Iraq bomb shelter terminal. The weather is bad year round: Hot & dry or humid and wet. Abandoned trucks and cars litter the highways that looked like they were hit by a scud missals. The few people that do own homes live in compound like structures, surrounded by 12' tall block fences with spikes, barbed wire, spears or broken bottles lining the tops of them. All the homes have huge iron gates and indentured like servants acting as gate guards and house cleaners watching the properties. Many commodities are more expensive than the same product you would buy at Walmart. I was surprised at how expensive gas, milk, rice and soft drinks were. Lagos does not sleep. At night all the road side vendors are still open selling everything from uncooked and un-refrigerated meat & fish to used auto parts, highlighted by small burning oil lamps. The average family has 4 children, none of which the parents can support. There is no birth control or family planning available. There is no banking credit/loan system and no way for most of them to get out of poverty. The good news? The moving of the Holy Ghost: Part II is next.
Hi Stephanie, You are very welcomed. I have personally found that God can work things out when no man can. God can do a far better job also. Alot of times it may take a while. I hate being patient! Ugh! But many times, God makes us to be patient whether we want to or not. However, in the end, I have found that His way was the best way. May God bless you greatly, Anonymous40784
Thank you so much for your heartfelt prayer for my grandchildren and myself to be reunited. I appreciate it more than you can ever know. I have prayed God to allow me to care for the children again, for help with my daughter's problems, for the ACS department to allow me access to the children, and to restore my family to me. I have this request on many prayers circles. I am trying very hard to have faith that the Lord will light the path of darkness that I find myself todding, and show me which way I must go. God Bless you and thank you so much for your prayers. Stephanie.
To: Disabled vet needs to buy house When the VA awarded you the 100% rating, they should have gone back to the date you applied (retroactive date). Which means that you should have received a large lump sum in addition to the monthly check. If you did not get that, please contact the VA. That would definitely help cover expenses you are asking for. Also, most sellers are willing to pay the closing or at least half. You CAN get the 'closing' financed using your VA loan entitlement. Also, since you are now rated 100%, you more than likely qualify for social security disability. So, if you are not receiving this (SSD) check already, please apply. That way you will have 2 checks a month. Good luck, Soldier/Vet
To: dedicatedvet, Hi Vet, Contact your local mental health center or social services. Ask for a referral so that they can get a 'Case Manager or Social Worker' to assist you. You can also try to contact the health dept for direction. Sorry your are having these problems. At 100% with a dependent, your VA benefit of approx: $2,610 plus your social security check, you should be bringing in approx $3,700 or more a month. I am sure with assistance and good budgeting you will be able to get out of this situation. Good luck, from a soldier
